Feature Of Glass And Hard Plastic Breakages
If in the case of a breakage of glass or hard
plastic in an area of production, the following procedure is being managed;
- Stop production
- Restrict movement through the area
- Quarantine product in the affected area
- Report to Management and responsible personnel
- Clean up and remove glass
- Check all products in affected area
- Record in issue log
- Investigation to be conducted as to how to prevent the same occurrence going forwards
Policy:
AUto Group is very much committed to ensure People as well as Product’s safety. To assure this issue factory maintains a “Glass & Hard Clear Plastic breakage procedure” which covers Buyers Code of conduct & requirements.Procedure:
- We are using hard plastic & glass for partition/wall as a door & window & glass as a bulb for lighting.
- All types of plastic & glass we use/handle very carefully and safely so that product, people and Environment will not affected.
- When any glass or plastic item broken, at first nearest supervisor/dept. people remove good and workers from this place then inform it to the section security/Admin. Than Administrative department takes immediate initiative to remove those broken items and clean the area through Cleaners.
- To remove broken items & clean that place cleaner use Brush, Belch, Mob, etc.
- If it will happen in production and packing areas/adjacent to the goods; we’ll check those goods very carefully and if necessary reject affected goods.
- We store all broken glasses, bulbs, tube lights in separate box with label in separate area & dispose 1 or 2 times a month .As Glass doors are risky for people being made as transparent, we put all doors safety instructions like “Glass door” or “Be careful”.
- We inform the employee ate the procedure.
- This policy will review & evaluate 1 time a year.
Responsibilities:
Employees will inform to the security & Security will inform to the Administration department about any broken item found in any place inside the factory premises.Cleaner will remove broken item to keep it in the proper place & clean that place.
Administration department will monitor this procedure.
HR, Administration & Compliance depart will trained up our employees about this procedure.
The Chairmen or General Manager as a factory responsible will declare this policy & procedure.

It will be applicable for all department and all employees of the factory.
