Training Policy Definition:


This training policy is applicable for the employees of Auto Group of different levels. Employees need to be trained time to time in order to maintain effectiveness and efficiency and also to cope and adapt with the new job related tasks and practices. Auto Group focuses on the improvement of its employees’ skill level, which in turn will help the company to grow and expand. In order to make a clear guideline how the training should be imparted to the employees, this staff training policy has been formulated.


Basis of Staff Training Policy:


For any kind of organizations, employees are to be considered one of the core resources. Keeping that thing in mind Auto Group tries to enhance the skill level of its employees who can contribute positively to the company. Training will not only improve the company’s performance but it will also help employees to identify and understand the various aspects of modern work environment which will also help them for their own career advancement.

Staff Training Policy:


  • Training should be provided to the employees based on their individual requirement and their work level
  • For better understanding and tracking the employee training are being classified in 9 segments; which are –For worker, For junior floor staff,For support staff,For mid-level production staff,For junior to mid-level production staff,For senior to top management of both factories and head office,For expatriates, working in different units
  • PACE training or regular course work
  • Fire safety in general and for the fire safety team
  • For the newly joined employees orientation session and training program will be held at different units
  • As part of company staff training policy all workers and staff will undergo basic training on organization structure and system.
  • Induction training for All workers to be conducted.
  • To increase the efficiency of work, professional training to be conducted during job foe efficient operation of New-tech machineries for operators.
  • Training for supervisors and higher management on disciplinary procedures and supervisory skill will be conducted.
  • Training on Code of conduct for supervisors and managers to be conducted.
  • Understating the local labor code for workers benefits, wages, overtime rate calculation and other issues to be conducted.
  • Training on Health and safety to be conducted.
  • Training on first aid and fire fighting to be conducted.
  • Training on healthier practices vide Public address system for workers to be conducted.
  • Awareness on fire safety, PPE, Machine guarding, work related hazard to be conducted for Workers and all staff.

 

Manpower training policy:


Introduction: Manpower is our main strength for our RMG sector. So training of manpower for strengthening them in technical knowledge as well as awareness of their health and safety is very essential. If we don’t train up our valuable manpower we don’t get better output or productivity.

Policy: At recruitment stage first day we trained up our employee. At that day we trained them about their health and safety, hazards, company rules and regulation and job manners. QC Training is very important

Then after six month interval we make a training program on health and safety. Other training programme( Production related) is conducted as per requirements.

Production related:
  • Process control
  • Online quality control
  • Liquor ratio
  • Organic cotton
  • Other latest issue.

 

Regulations & Procedures:

  • Worker level employees will be given training on technical skills, on behavioral and motivational aspects
  • Junior floor level staff will be trained on worker handling skills, on functional areas, on behavioral aspects, on motivation
  • Skill enhancement and etiquette training & common sense building training and language skills will be given to the support staff
  • Functional training related to field of work and General soft skills and behavioral training will be given to the mid-level production staff and junior to mid-level office staff
  • Senior to top management people of office and factory will participate in external seminars, senior level trainings on habits, soft skills, management areas and management philosophy
  • Expatriate employee will be given raining on language and cultural awareness
  • Fire safety training will be given on various courses on fire safety
  • Besides the above trainings also PACE training will be given to the various level of employees based on requirement
  • For the newly joined employees the orientation and staff training policy communication training will be held at different units in a group, through taking permission of the department heads and training should be conducted by the HR personnel. Short quiz will be taken as feedback from the employees
  • In case of the functional training at various level employees the decision will be taken by the HR and the relevant departments; and the participants will be identified based on gap analysis by HR department and the responsible department heads
  • Management approval should be taken with sufficient budget to conduct internal or external training.
  • In case of internal training the materials should be prepared and checked, and for the external trainings the registration formalities will be completed
  • After completion of the internal training exam and presentation should be taken by the trainees; and only presentation will be taken in case of attending external trainings
  • After the trainings the trainees should be appraised based on satisfactory or dissatisfactory feedback of the employees and their performance
  • For the PACE and general awareness training the participants will be identified by HR department and the department heads based on the appraisal records, gap analysis and perceived need for training
  • Materials should be prepared prior to the training session and time and venue will be announced; after the training the feedback of the trainees will be taken through post training exam and presentation

Responsible Parties:


HR department and department heads will be responsible for identifying the persons, who needs to be trained

HR director will be responsible for sanctioning training materials and management will be responsible for sanctioning budget and related decisions

Communication & Implementation:


The policies are to be communicated to all levels of management through regular and repeated discussions during meetings and implemented and followed up on accordingly.

The policy is to be published in the policy book, so it will be visible to all the employees. A Bangla version of the staff training policy will be provided to the junior factory level staffs and workers.

 

Training for Electrical Safety


This is the document regarding electrical safety training during maintenance period. Electrical safety training is too crucial for any kind of maintenance personnel (especially for electricians). Electrical safety training is defined by the process in which P.P.E (Personal Protection Equipment), LOTO (Log Out Tag Out) concept, using of engineering tools in sense of wellbeing, net and clean approach, high degree of consciousness are exercised during the training phase.

Conclusion:


Trainees’ feedback will be taken through post training exam and presentation, based on which they will appraised. Exceptions must have the prior approval of the apex management. Garments Staff Training Policy and Procedure should be written in an organization.
