DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION Designation : Line Supervisor (Sewing).
Section : Sewing.
Report to : Sewing In Charge.
Immediate subordinate : Sewing operator.
Job Summary : Supervise the individual line of sewing section.

| What is the Job Responsibility of a Sewing Line Supervisor |
Duties Sewer Line Supervisor:
- To check whether the target is achieved.
- Sewer Line Supervisor any other job assigned by the management from time to time.
- Brings the cut fabric from cutting section.
- To check sample and line layout to advice line leader and operators how to make garments products.
- To receive cutting parts from cutting section and make input in sewing line style wise.
- Sewer Line Supervisor To receive accessories from store by requisition as per quantity.
- To check garments by measurements.
- To assist line leader operators to overcome any problem.
- To report production quantity and maintain register as per format.
- Maintains the discipline.
- He gives instructions to the operators to clean machines properly.
- He follows the orders given by the Production Manager.
- He brings cut fabric from the cutting section and accessories from the store.
- He supplies the fabric and accessories to his line for production.
- He prepares the whole garment in his line.
- He controls line No. 2.
- He looks after the welfare of the persons working under him.
- Capable to determine the sewing problem.
- Line wise out put knowledge.
- Out put register maintaining Knowledge.
- Skill : 1. Good Communication Skill.
- Brings accessories from the store.
- Makes the garment ready for shipment.
- Keeps hourly document for production.
- Follows the instruction given by the P.M.
