Duties and responsibilities
- Operate the individual sewing M/C of sewing section.
- Take necessary steps at once to solve any Problem derive in the way of working.
- Keep the record of individual responsibilities also with hourly production reports.
- To find out the broken needle.
- Any other works as and when required by in charge.
- He gives instructions to the operators to clean machines properly.
- He follows the orders given by the Production Manager.
- He brings cut fabric from the cutting section and accessories from the store.
- He supplies the fabric and accessories to his line for production.
- He prepares the whole garment in his line.
- In Line and End Line QC stations available and staffed.
- Roaming line QC present and visible.
- All Stationed and QC reports available for review on site.
- Statistical analysis and root cause analysis done.
- All reports show Corrective Action Plan, and satisfactory closure of issues.
- Needle control policy in place with clear reports available.
- He controls line No. 3.
- He looks after the welfare of the persons working under him.
Recommended organization structure
According to me the existing structure of AKL is not right. So it needs to change. So I have done the paired comparison method. Before that I have tried to classify the job position into four categories. Those are:- Top level position.
- Production Section.
- Commercial Section.
- Accounts & Admin Section for Sewing Operator
