Summary of Lab Assistant Job   

The conventional batch method of dyeing used in laboratory and production is the Exhaust Dyeing Method where in a fabric is circulated with a dyeing solution until the equilibrium is reached at the temperature specifically assigned for every dyes.                 :
  • Weighing dyestuff and makes its stock solution.
  • After dyeing wash and dry the sample.
  • Measuring stock solution for dyeing lab dip sample.
  • Testing of finished fabrics quality parameters.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the factory premises.
  • Adequate Fire extinguishers, crowbar and other safety equipment are available. Lab Assistants are trained and instructed to use these in case of emergency.
  • Follow the safety instructions and guideline while operating the machines.
  • Lab. staff must always wear lab. coat , plastic eye glass, hand gloves and mask when preparing strong acids like sulphuric acid, hydrochloric, acetic, and other hazardous chemicals which is detrimental to health.
  • Mouth and nose must be cover also when preparing dyes and other powdered chemicals to avoid inhaling these substances.
  • Testing of basic chemicals purity.
  • Accountability : After dyeing wash and dry the sample.
  • Authority : Adequate
  • Right colouration of specified substrates per customer requirement 
  • using Spectrophotometer and Lab dyeing machine. 
  • Develop new dyestuff database.
  • Yarn parameters.
  • Always add acid slowly to water not water to acid when preparing acid solution to prevent sudden heating of the mixture causing breakage and sometimes explosion.
  • Mouth of the container must always be away from the face when preparing solutions.
  • Wash with plenty of water when skin contact with dyes and chemicals and if severe go to the doctor immediately.
  • All chemicals and dyes container must be covered and tightly closed with proper labelling.
  • Machines and dyeing beakers must be cool down to a certain degree and off before opening to avoid heat contact and strong pressure.

  • Creating a work environment that is intimidating, offensive because of unwelcome sexually oriented conversations, suggestions, request, demands or physical contacts.
  • About sexual harassment authority has adopted bellow policy:
  • Sexual comment is completely prohibited.
  • Pornographic picture is restricted to bring in the workplace or you are not supposed to show pornographic picture anybody for your sexual enjoyment.
  • A bad comment is restricted against anybody though he or she will not agree for sexual enjoyment.
  • Mental punishment is restricted directly or indirectly for sexual enjoyment for Lab Assistant Job
