In order to help the children to be educated and get employed (above 18 years of age) and to avoid risking the life of children, Auto Group established the child labour essay and Policy. To ensure not to recruit any employees less than 18 years old and treating them fairly in case of hiring them. Autogroup will not recruit any worker under age of 18 years. Vendors shall not use prison labor or forced labor in any of their facilities.  “Forced labor” is defined as work or service which is extracted from any person under threat of penalty for its non-performance and for which the worker does not offer himself voluntarily.

Child Labor:


Vendors shall not use child labor in any of their facilities.  “Child” is defined as a person who is within (or younger than) the local age for completing compulsory education and in no event less than 14 years of age.  Vendors shall also comply with all other applicable child labor laws.  The company  supports the development of legitimate, workplace apprenticeship programs for the educational benefit of younger people as long as the individual is not being exploited or put at risk with regard to health and safety.

Regulations & Procedures:


  • In case if required to recruit adolescent workers i.e. under 18 years and above 14 years of age, will follow following procedure:
  • Working hour should not be more than 5 hours a day.
  • Will not work between the hours of  7 pm & 7 am
  • Will require certificate of fitness from civil surgeon.
  • Will require written consent from parents.
  • Separate register should be maintained or the child labors and they should be marked with token
  • Will carry a token
  • Maintain worker rights 
  • Will not work in any machines that are in motion.
  • Will get one day leave for every fifteen working days
  • By mistakenly, if any child labour essay and policy who is under 14 years of age, will be recruited, company will immediately discontinue his/her service and will arrange and bear the cost of education for him/her. Company also will guarantee that, on completion of education and becoming eligible to work (at the age of 18 years), he/she will be offered a job opportunity here.

Exceptions:


There are no exceptions for this policy

Implementation Child Labour Essay and Policy: 


The policies are communicated through meetings and emails and notifications.
The policy book will be given to all department heads. Compliance and HR Staffs of HR department would be responsible for implementing this child labour essay and policy
