Coordinating department: internal : batch, lab, maintenance, store & finishing section.

External : a.k.w.l and merchandising

Immediate subordinate : Junior Dyeing Manager.

Job summary :

  • In order to ensure floor safety, all employees should follow the instructions given below. To execute fabric coloration according to dyeing plan
  • To take preventive action for making nonconformance dyeing like non desired shade, running shade, uneven etc.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the factory premises. To take corrective action for any dyeing fault of the fabric.
  • Coordination between quality control department and dyeing whether there is any non-conformance product and take necessary steps for that nonconformance.
  • Coordination between batch and dyeing to load correct batches in dyeing machine and or adopt changes make in everyday dyeing plan.
  • Coordination between finishing and dyeing for any batches which would be operated differently other than regular process.
  • Provide any kind of sample to the respective merchandiser.
  • Adequate number of Fire extinguishers is placed in Inspection Area. Floor personnel are trained to use it. Should get more emphasize on sample delivery.
  • Accountability : accountable to the senior manager (production) for accurate shade matching & level dyeing as well as for non conformance dyeing,

Welfare Facilities

Festival Bonus:  Do not place fabric stack in front of the electric panels. All full time workers of the company who has completed al least one full time year with the company are entitled for two regular festival bonus equivalent of half gross salary.

Attendant Bonus: Follow the safety instructions and guideline while operating the machines. For better motivation and reduce late attendance company pays attendance bonus for operator 200 taka and for helper 100 taka.

Entertainment Facility: Beyond of daily work for worker diversion every year company arrangement a picnic by own cost.Take necessary safety precautions (e.g. use of hand gloves, mask etc.) while handling chemicals and other hazardous materials.

Group Life Insurance: Authority has arranged group life insurance for all employees. Authorities review it every after two month for new recruited worker.

Canteen Facility: Authority has built more or less 14000sft canteen for all employees. Around 1200 employees can easily take their lunch at a time. Transport facility: Authority has arranged free transport facility for all employees who are come up to far distance from factory.

Medical Facility: The facility has a full-equipped medical center. The medical center has three rooms with 4 beds. One full time medical officer and trained nurse are served everyday to our employees. For emergency cases facility has a deed with nearest hospital and ambulance service. Authority has arranged adequate first aid box for floor and adequate responder trained by medical officer.

Factory must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding working conditions. Factory set working hours, wages and overtime pay in accordance with all applicable laws. Worker shall be paid at least the minimum wages or prevailing wages that meets local industry standards. It is true that overtime is often required in garment production, factory shall carry out operation in ways that overtime to a level that ensure humane and productive working conditions.

At the time of hiring authority made awareness program about facility policies and procedures, legal limitation on the maximum hours of work per day, week and month both regular and overtime and the maximum number of consecutive days they can legally be required to work.

Pay Slip: Every employee is entitled for pay slip which contain detail breakdown of payment including deduction money.

Revenue Stamp: Authority use revenue stamp accordingly country rules. Workers are responsible for pay revenue stamp.
Deduction: As per wages payment rules 2006 management can deduct salary for bellow listed reason:

  • Fines
  • Deduction for absence from duty.
  • Money loss for negligence
  • Willingly destroy factory properties.
  • Advance salary
  • Income tax payable by the worker
  • Provident fund.
