Reports to: Deputy Finishing Manager / Production Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES. (Authority and accountability for people, plant / assets, money.)
Supervises: All Workers of Finishing Dept.
Duties and Responsibilities
The tasks preformed while discharging responsibilities.
- Maintain the discipline of Iron man.
- Supervise the Work of Iron man.
- As certain labels are printed with both important legal and buyerstock control information it is very important that the correct care/product number labels are inserted into every individual product on a continuous basis, therefore all labels and hangtags must managed as follows:
- Labels will be stored securely on the production floor.
- They are issued onto the production line by the same quantity, size and colour as the work being introduced into production.
- Operators inserting labels issued with a copy of ‘product numbers’ for the style in production, to check on a regular basis.
- Replacement labels issued due to loss, damage or incorrect issuing will be issued on a controlled basis with records.
- All spare labels issued to production line will be returned to secure storage
- At end of contract all remaining labels will be returned to central stores.
- Act according schedules given by P.M. & F / In-charge.
- Responsible to received Fabrics From Sewing Dept and Clean the Iron in time
