WEFT INSERTION

Shedding mechanism ensure for smooth picking, the required weft for the next pick is wound in advance on prewinder. While the loom is running the weft of corresponding the length of one pick is supplied to FDP & storage is controlled in the FDP (feed drum pulley).

NOZZELS IN WEFT INSERTION

Main nozzles = provides drag for pick insertion

Relay nozzle = maintains the drag

Stretch nozzle = keeps pick straight and stretched

BEATING UP


The reed of tunnel type does the beat –up of weft.

SELVEDGE FORMATION


It has full leno selvedge on both sides .leno assembly rotate once is every two picks to make up in 1up 1down twill. Leno yarn used is 150 denier polyester filament yarns to give up a strong and fine selvedge.

WEFT STOP MOTION


Two electrically controlled weft stop feelers f1 & f2 are set on right side of loom .the distance between 100-150mm .f1 puts check on short pick and f2 on long pick.

CATCH CORDS

The picks on right side are interwoven with catch cord mechanism that gives smooth selvedge and avoids tucking –in of the side picks into the fabric.

WEFT CUTTING MOTION


A pair of scissors cuts weft on either side. On left-hand side, it cuts the continuous when it’s been laid. On right-hand side, it cuts the selvedge waste to the waste

TAKE UP MOTION


Mechanical type of positive take –up motion, where a pick change wheel is change according to the requirement.

LET OFF MOTION

Continuous positive let –off motion which is controlled by separate motor (ELO motor).there is a load cell on a back rest that feels the tension and accordingly controls the let-off.

SALIENT FEATURES:-

SHEDDING MOTION

Have a positive Shedding Mechanism motion is provided which gets its drive from dobby shedding mechanism. These looms are having electronic dobby shedding mechanism where we feed the lifting plan and the dobby operates by itself to give the required weave.

WEFT INSERTION

Here the weft insertion element is in the form of rapier.

BEAT UP


The reed that is of simple type does the beat-up of weft .here eccentric can type of beat-up.

LET-OFF

The electronic let-off is controlled by an independent motor.

To sense the tension, there is a sensor and proximity switch for controlling the let off through the back rest.

TAKE UP MOTION

An independent motor drive to the electronic take up motion. So there is no need of changing the wheels.

WRAP STOP MOTION

Wrap stop motion is electronically controlled. The catch system is at both ends and different types are used.

SETTING DONE ON MACHINE AFTER GAITING

Red set properly with reed holder.

Cloth bar is set initially when the loom is set.

The distance between feeler 1 and feeler 2 should be140mm.

Prewinder diameter and turns/pick adjustable according to reed space.

Feeler 1 on right hand side of the loom should be at some distance (5mm)from fabric width.
