COMPANY POLICY


AUTO KNITTINGS LTD is committed to export and distribute its products successfully to its customer throughout the world by maintaining commercial documents . Therefore, authority is committed to working with the Bangladesh Customs service to ensure with all applicable law of Bangladesh Custom’s Regulation and policies. It is AUTO KNITTINGS LTD policy to comply fully with all Bangladesh Custom’s Laws, regulation and policies of all countries where it does business. Authority recognizes that the Bangladesh Government and the governments or other countries are having laws, regulations and policies, which control the importation and exportation of products. Its also recognizes the importance of Customs Compliance with these laws, regulations and policies.
  • Facility complies with all applicable Custom Laws and maintains practices to comply with customs laws regarding illegal transshipment of apparel products.
  • Authority monitors its production on a per style basis.
  • Authority verifies production on an ongoing basis on-site.
  • Authority can trace country of origin using records such as production, shipping, verification reports, quality control reports for all inputs.
  • Authority maintains a facility machine inventory and updates it annually.
  • Authority ensures that if the goods are subject to US quotas that the country of origin for quota purpose is correct.
  • Authority ensures that products produced in its factory cannot be tapered, altered or replaced in any way.

PROCEDURE

  • Authority ensures the country of origin for all goods produced in this facility can be traced on a per style basis through a review of appropriate documents.
  • Authority will maintain on file of subcontracting facility (if applicable). Documents are requested from sub contracting facilities, when questions regarding goods produce at those facilities arise.
  • Authority maintains a machine inventory and updates it at least once a year.
  • Authority records all incidences of possible illegal transshipment activity when discovered and send a copy of the report to the appropriate host government agency. Facility individual involved in any illegal transshipment activity will be terminated immediately.
  • Authority determines US quota requirements for the host country through subscription to a quota monitoring service, review of US Customs web site with quota information, through the host government quota council or issuing agency, through trade association information, etc.
  • Authority confirms the correct category and country of origin for goods through verifying and requesting binding rulings from the US Customs Service, confirmation with purchasing company.
  • Verifies products for export to be only those actually produce at the facility. Security measures such as inspection, security, key issuing policy, use of seal on packed cartoons, ensure that goods cannot be altered, tempered or replaced prior to export from the facility.
  • Authority assigns a qualified person with responsibility for communicating, deploying and monitoring the facility’s customs compliance policies.
  • The responsible person ensures that the country of origin for all goods produced in the facility can be determined based on invoice, bill of lading, Air way bill and other shipping documents that will demonstrate country of origin such as production records, raw material invoices/ shipping documents etc.
  • Authority ensures that such origin determining documents are maintained for at least 3 years.
  • Authority conducted machine inventories on an annual basis and keep it on file.
  • Routinely verifies security measures are in place to prevent the alteration, tampering or replacement of goods produced at the facility. Such verification is recorded and reported to the security service, is part of the quarterly review of the security service, is part of the routine facility practices review, etc.

PROCEDURE OF SHORTAGE AND OVERAGES:


AUTO KNITTINGS LTD opens their L/C for goods as per the order quantity. After following the regulations of our custom, they imported or local yarn and accessories from different sourcing countries and some time from local sources also. After cutting of fabric if found any shortage due to any unavoidable reason, then discussing with legal concern authority we try to collect balance fabric from local sources and made the full quantity for shipment.

If any time found overages quantity then try to ship out including all overages with the prior permission of buyer. If that buyer does not accept the overage quantity then keeping the overage quantity in our hand and after negotiation with other buyer usually we ship out the goods within next 18 month.

POLICY OF ILLEGAL TRANSSHIPMENT


AUTO KNITTINGS LTD believes the ethical business policy. They understand that illegal transshipment is not any business. That is why any kinds of transshipments are 100% prohibited in this factory. If any body or any official people engage themselves with this illegal activities Management will take necessary action against him as per law for Customs Compliance
