General Manager Job Description:
To arrange / monitor job vacancies for workers, staffs and
officers in different section/ departments of factories and Head Office are met
in line with job specification and manpower plan.
- To be responsible for monitoring overall operation of the Company.
- To manage & Coordinate different dept. of the Company.
- To be responsible for implementation of Various Systems, procedures & policies of the business.
- To design & implement strategic to achieve Company’s goal, mission & business objective.
- To be responsible for monitoring overall operation of the Company.

- To monitor that all Job Contract / Appointment Letters for new hires are properly made, issued and filed.
- To maintain liaison with the local govt. authorities such as, district administration, police, fire service, medical service etc.
- To be responsible for renewal of all licenses/certificates of the factory by General Manager Job Description
- To develop Employee orientation – Induction program for new hires.
- To monitor processing papers concerning all kinds of recruitment & placement are properly done and maintained.
- To monitor all data, records, reports and personal files are properly done & maintained by HR Department in Head Office & Factories.
- To take care / monitor on late attendance, absenteeism and labor turn over with the departmental / Production / line Managers.To be responsible for payment of electricity, gas etc bill of the factory.
Summery
Both Organizational Effectiveness
(OE) and Human Resources Development (HRD) are interrelated with each other. No
need to mention that without HRD, effectiveness of the Organization is always
lagging behind. Therefore, a fruitful mix of OE and HRD required for successful
organizational performance can only be achieved by setting up of a
professionally fashioned HRM department with well defined job responsibilities
& corresponding authority and power.
