Head of sales job description
Reporting to : Marketing Manager
Purpose of the Job : To Guide and support sales function of Agribusiness to achieve the financial budget and ensure continuous growth.
To Manage efficient operation to ensure width and depth coverage across the Area.
To Maintain strong team approach within the team member of The Area.
Job Customer : Internal –Superior, Colleague, cross functional department and all Agriscience personnel.
External– All DAE people, Chemist, Regulatory authority, NGO’s, and all level of customer of the region.
Principal Accountability:
- To visit regularly of external customer i.e. DAE Personnel, Regulatory authority, NGO’s and all level of customer to get regular and situation oriented support.
- To develop strategic sales plan to exploit potential area wise markets in the agriculture sector and reduce credit note & overdue up-to zero level.
- To use leadership techniques to motivate and develop people. Identify, training needs of our associates, implement training programs to build up professionalism skill and knowledge.
- To keep up to date information of competitor’s products and ensure fair communication from customers to Management and Management to Customers.
- To dissolve all sales related issues by coordinating with the respective people.
- To Achieve Sales target given by the management in a particular geographical Area for you.
- To manage sales including preparation of Territory & Area sales target, Expense monitoring, setting tour program. Formulating agenda of monthly Sales Meeting, Area Meeting and evaluation of Field Forces performance.
- To Planning, Organizing, and monitoring the sales activities to ensure the targeted sales objective. Planning, developing & implementing sales operation in the Area. Implement and evaluate performance by products and promotional activities.
- To collect regular marketing feedback with an objective to remain updated about the Area. Provide strategic guideline for upgrading weak market to get better performance.
- To keep the team member motivated to attain any assigned job. Providing effective on job coaching to all level of team members.
- To develop proper forecast planning and inventory management in the depot and customer level.
- To manage efficiently and effectively credit to get maximum output for the business.
