Reports to: Production Manager.

Subordinate : Finishing Deputy Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES. (Authority and accountability for people, plant / assets, money.)

Supervises: All Workers of Finishing Dept.

Plant / assets: NIL

Money: NIL

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Separate zones for incoming and outgoing production. To read and follow order wise instructions & specifications.
  • Makes plan & schedule for the jobs assigned to him.
  • 100% Visual final check is done.
  • Spec inspection of critical measurement stations in place and operational. Conducted for 100% of the merchandise.
  • AQL and measurement spec done hourly and recorded. Corrective action plan available and implemented.
  • Random safety testing like buttons and small parts security, done and recorded.
  • All garments are passed through the metal detector, as a standard.
  • Metal detector control records available.
  • Keeps contract with production Manager.
  • Makes liaison with Sewing Section & Merchandizing Department.
  • Receives different items from the store for Finishing purpose.
  • Follows up with the washing centers.
  • Keeps liaison with sub-Contract Factories. 
  • Close Contract with Finishing GM & Production Manager. 
  • Packing list. 
  • Receive the accessories from Store for Packing.
  • Review 3rd party inspection reports to see pass/fail ratio and see if the co- relation matches the factory’s findings.
  • Auditor’ review of finished goods, is satisfactory and matches customer requirement, based of comparison with approved sample.
  • Finishing room staff is proud to display their SOPs and end product. Ask for suggestions if any.

  • Skill ness and quality is the right of pre-emption for promotion and increment of the workers.
  • All times this organization obeys the local labour laws for equalization.
  • During employment no irrelevant questions asked the applicants and enrolled according to quality and skill ness of applicant.
  • External QC inspection rooms available with adequate lighting and ventilation. This organization respect all the workers and equal rights in the work place.
  • Authority shall not carry out any mandatory pregnancy test at the time of hiring of any female worker and shall not discourage or refuse employment to any married female.
  • Authority allows to pregnant worker for attending doctors or nurse and ensure that less work for carry woman. Authority also keep stop them for fire drill. Facility appointed nurse checkup pregnant worker for twice a month.

Brand centric, factory nominated QCs are present.. Any employees with questions about any type of discrimination in the work place are encouraged to bring these issues to the attention of the head of the department or Human Resources Department. Anyone found to be engaging in any type of unlawful discrimination will be subject to disciplinary action.
