POSITION REPORTS TO: Human Rights Regional Leader, and V.P. of Human Rights Programs

Compliance Auditor Job Description Summary:

Ensure that all factories in the region are in compliance with our code of conduct and guidelines for vendors known as "A Shared Commitment." and/or that the factories are in process of making all necessary corrections to reach compliance on a timely basis.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Compliance Auditor Job Description Perform Human Rights initial, periodic, short form and/or limited scope audits in the region, as deemed necessary, and directed by the Regional Leader, and V.P. of Human Rights. These audits must be performed in accordance to our specific forms, requirements and S.O.P.
  • Prepare HR evaluation reports, inform and review any non-compliance issues with the Regional Leader on a timely basis.
  • Discuss all non-compliance issues with vendor/factory; provide guidance on specific issues if necessary, and obtain/review timeline for completion.
  • Coordinate and conduct follow up visits for active factories that have not reached compliance yet. Advise Regional Leader on a timely basis. Record the audit findings on our specific forms.
  • Maintain and update the Country Key for each country/location in the region as directed by the Regional Leader.
  • Report any significant issues as per "Red Flag Reporting" procedure to Regional Leader and V.P. of Human Rights Programs.
  • Prepare material on HR compliance issues as directed by the Regional Leader and the V.P. of Human Rights Programs.
  • Assist in Human Rights training and awareness sessions, conducted both, internally (divisions, etc.) and externally (factories, and vendors).
  • Incorporate information provided by external sources, such as NGOs, Governmental agencies, etc. to the audit plan, upon instructions by Regional Leader and V.P. Human Rights Programs.
  • Communicate with External Independent Monitors when directed by Regional Leader or V.P. Human Rights Program.
  • Address general or specific compliance issues/problems with supervisor and V.P., and recommend course of action. This relates to issues that can positively or negatively impact PVH compliance program, its implementation in specific countries/locations and/or at a given facility.
  • Maintain a positive, constructive dialogue with factories, vendors and third parties, and communicate clearly any problem.
