Quality Control Officer Job Description summary :

Cutting Section: Follow up e mail to factory with core observations and recommendations. Follow up & quality control in Fabric inspection (4.0 system), Shad segregation (after or before wash), Mat making (3set), Shade band (approved to buyer), Shrinkage test (+,- 3% to5%), Gsm/ Ozs/ Gauge test, Pattern/Hard Pattern (style & size wise all process) check with measurement & allowance, Marker check with (length, width, cutting lot no. avoid jumping & over writing), Table marking check (avoid bias), Spreading quality check with (ends, counts, ply height & avoid learning, fabric tension, narrow goods, etc.) Gutting quality check (avoid miss cut), Fabric bundle check with tolerance & allowance, Cutting number sticker check of all parts.

Sewing (Workmanship) Section : Follow up & quality control (from input to output) in all process audit & check with Robin QC(7pcs, System), SPI counting, Round & Blister check, Wrong size (Size mistake) check, hand feel test, Quality & measurement check, Inline inspection with AQL (1.0/1.5).

Finishing & Peking Section:  Pre-final/final inspection with AQL (2.5/4.0), Lots quantity of carton (Loaded with garments ) Check 10% system or Route over of total carton system & shipped by FOB Sea or On Air as per buyers order.

Basically in a garments industry we use fabric and other combustible material So, authority has prohibited all kind of smoking and pan chewing at workplaces. Suggestions and recommendations should be supported by requirement of need for implementation. Employees who wish to smoke do so in the two canteen areas. Employees will not be permitted to smoke whilst carrying out their duties.
