Anti Corruption Policy Applicable :
This Anti Corruption policy is applicable for all the parties who are related to Auto Group in its internal and external environment.The objective of this policy is to make clear guidelines and focusing on the ongoing practices of Auto Group regarding how the morality and honesty are being adopted in its operations. Bribery and corruption is, unfortunately, a feature of corporate and public life in many countries across the world. Governments, businesses and non-governmental organizations are working together to tackle the issue. Our corporate conduct is based on our commitment to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity. Auto Group does not tolerate any form of bribery and corruption like anti child policy. The purpose of this Anti Corruption policy is to set out the responsibilities of Group functions and business units in observing and upholding our position on bribery and corruption. This anti bribery policy applies to Auto Group all employees (staff, worker, contract and temporary) and extends to all our sub contractor & supplier.
Basis of Anti Bribery Policy:
Auto Group is committed to ensuring that its activities reflect its ethical values of honesty, fairness and transparency. The company will not tolerate corruption, bribery and unfair, anti-competitive activity, and insists on integrity in all aspects of its business and from all those it does business with. That’s why this anti bribery policy has been formulated keeping the values in its core operations. Our first principle, ‘integrity in corporate conduct’, states that Auto Group does not engage in bribery or any form of unethical inducement or payment including facilitation payments and ‘kickbacks.’ All employees are required to avoid any activities that might lead to, or suggest, a conflict of interest with the business of the Company. Auto Group will follow national and international laws and conventions for support this anti bribery policy.
Anti Bribery and Corruption Policy:
Auto recognizes the threat that, bribery and corruption could pose threat to economic progress and development in its operating country and is committed to complying with the requirements of law of the land.
Auto forbids the payment and receiving of bribes on its behalf, and will maintain an adequate system of procedures designed to prevent bribery by any person associated with the company.
Company will work for clients and with business partners that comply with internationally acceptable ethical standards, and where its commissions are consistent with generally accepted ethical standards.
Company will conduct relationships with clients and business partners in the spirit of transparency, openness and trust.
Company does not permit the establishment or maintenance of any undisclosed or unrecorded account, fund or asset, and insists that proper and full records must be made of all transactions on behalf of the company.
Employees shall act in an ethical, honest and professional way in all of their business dealings, and may not offer, give or receive any gift or payment which is, or may be construed as, a bribe. Any demand for, or offer of, a bribe or inducement to act in any way contrary to the company principles must be rejected immediately, and reported to senior management.
Keeping in mind that, corporate hospitality is frequently given and received as part of the development of legitimate and mutually beneficial relationships, Auto will not condone the giving or receiving of gifts, hospitality or favors that could be interpreted as an attempt at bribery. Employees of the company shall avoid accepting gifts, hospitality or favors which might appear to place them under any obligations. Accepted levels of gifts could include exchange of branded souvenirs, stationary, official lunches/ dinners, of which senior management of both companies are aware.
Company employees are required to avoid any contact that might lead to, or suggest, a conflict of interest between their personal activities and the business of Auto or its clients.
Employees should report promptly to the company in case of any violations of law or company policies that come to their attention and to co-operate fully in any audit, enquiry, review or investigation by the company. Auto will maintain secure reporting systems to enable such reports to be made in confidence.
Auto will adhere to all any commitments that it makes in writing or orally to its employees are also expected to honor their commitments expressed through acceptance of terms and conditions of the appointment letter, and all official communication about corporate anti bribery and corruption policy.
The company will prosecute and take severe legal actions against anyone found guilty (after investigation) of any concealment of information, leakage of confidential information, unannounced departure without proper notice, involvement in any undisclosed personal business activity or anything that damages the company in any way.
Regulations & Procedures:
If employees fail to comply with this policy, they are liable to disciplinary action, up to, and including, dismissal, and even legal & police action.
Top management is responsible for ensuring fair and ethical practices in doing business in its fields.
Department heads are also responsible to make sure the proper implementation of this policy at the grass root level of their departments.
Director HR and Compliance Departments are responsible for taking complaints from different levels of staff and taking care of various matters regarding breach of morality and honesty.
The Group HR Manager is the main responsibility for implementing this policy and for reporting to the Auto Group Board of Directors time to time.
Communications & Implementations
The polices to be communicated to all levels of management through regular and repeated discussions during meetings and implemented and followed up on according.
The policy is to be published in the policy book, so it will be visible to all the employees. A Bangla version of the policy will be provided to the staff and worker of all level.
We will communicate this policy and relevant guidance to employees across the Group, through our established internal communication channels. We will also communicate this policy to our suppliers, contractors and business partners. Managers, employees will receive relevant training on how to implement this policy in the scope of their employment with the Group.
Exceptions Of Anti Bribery And Corruption Policy:
Some lapses in abidance may be pardoned on a case to case basis evaluating the other contributions of an employee to company betterment. The Auto Group Executive Committee will review the implementation of this anti bribery and corruption policy in respect of its suitability, adequacy and effectiveness and make improvements as appropriate. Auto Group will establish feedback mechanisms in order to maintain accurate records - available for inspection - which properly and fairly document all financial transactions. Internal control systems will be subject to regular audits to provide assurance that they are effective in countering bribery and corruption.
